For more than twenty-five, Jus’ Blues Music Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has proudly served as a guardian of one of America’s most authentic and influential art forms  the Blues. Our mission is simple yet essential: to nurture the soul of the Blues while protecting, preserving, and advancing its rich cultural heritage.

We honor the legendary originators who laid the groundwork for this music, alongside today’s artists who continue to carry its spirit forward. Through impactful Cultural Heritage Special Events and Historical Blues Educational Programming, we ensure the stories, contributions, and voices of Blues musicians are respected, remembered, and passed on to future generations. At the heart of our educational outreach is Blues-Got-A-Soul, a signature initiative created to connect young people with the cultural roots and artistic influence of the Blues. This program introduces students to the resilience, creativity, and storytelling that shaped the genre securing the Blues’ rightful place in American history while inspiring the next generation to find their own creative voice.

In July 2026, we proudly celebrate the 26th Annual Jus’ Blues Music Awards & Conference widely recognized as one of the nation’s most significant celebrations of Blues and Soul music. This landmark event honors legendary Black Blues artists and industry professionals whose work has shaped the sound and legacy of the genre. Each year, the gathering features prestigious award presentations, unforgettable live performances, dynamic conference sessions, and powerful opportunities for fellowship and networking.

More than a celebration, the Jus’ Blues Music Awards & Conference is also a vital fundraiser. Proceeds directly support our Blues-Got-A-Soul educational programs, empowering students to build confidence, explore creativity, and connect with the cultural heritage that continues to influence modern music. At Jus’ Blues, we believe the Blues is more than music, It is history. It is culture. It is soul.

And it is our mission to ensure this timeless art form continues to thrive for generations to come.
